Titans vs Jags Preview - NFL Week 14
The Titans are set to face off against the Jaguars today and while last week was ridiculously disappointing, I am hopeful for today once again. I can't help it, I just love this team. A win over a divisional opponent no matter what is a great thing to enjoy. The Jaguars will be without Trevor Lawrence so, let's hope the Titans can get it done against Mac Jones who as far as I am aware has absolutely stunk in 2024 when thrust into starting.
Let's hope the Titans just play hard no matter who the opponent is, period. The team can't get lost in their own hype (I know, a three win team talking about hype LOL) or get lost in the narrative that the opponent is sub-par. The Titans should know better by now that EVERY win is hard to get in the NFL. The Jaguars are for sure going to want to bury the Titans for the simple fact that it is the Titans and they will be playing the best they can.
Mercifully, the Titans have signed Mason Kinsey to the active roster from the practice squad to likely return punts since rookie Jha'Quan Jackson has been an utter disaster as a return man. Kinsey is better than most give him credit for. It's great to see him get another chance. He is a fan favorite and one of my favorite underdog Titans. It's nice that this current Titans staff is giving a player from the old regime a chance. Let's hope Kinsey locks in and does a good job. In Nashville too so, who knows how many more chances that he'll get in two-tone blue or in the NFL for that matter. But I really think he's solid.
At this point I just want the boys to get a win for the sake of winning. Winning is simply enjoyable. I don't give a hoot about a draft pick at this point. If Ran Carthon and company draft well, draft position is almost unimportant. They already have stacked a few draft picks from trades this year.
I am not that old but, I'm getting there. I just want to enjoy win number four!! Only five games left to watch the boys suit up and go to battle. Lock in boys!!!
