If the Eagles got their hands on both A.J. AND Derrick, I'd be pretty mad. That'd simply be nuts. They'd basically be the Philadelphia Titans at that point. Plus Marcus Mariota is now an Eagle too!!

The two most important parts of the Titans offense, and team overall have been rumored to be on the market and it's sort of weird. With a new GM around things just seem a bit uncomfortable in terms of vision or direction of the team going forward.

Plus, All-Pro top safety, Kevin Byard has not been at any off-season mini camps after the Titans asked him to take a pay cut. I'm pretty sure these team activities are voluntary but still, things seems slightly off. Kevin is a long time Titan, a clear team leader, and a MAJOR part of the team overall.

It seems unlikely Ryan or Derrick will be traded, and Kevin might report for mandatory camp no problem. But still, three rumors surrounding critical players on the team days before the Draft just seems fishy.

All in all, I get the sense that Ran is serious about the job and really wants to succeed. I'm still positive about his potential to do a great job. Any rumors about players and rumors in general hopefully just come from him trying to test the market, and just get the temperature of what the league might offer in general. It's a new team for Ran and while I am sure he is aware of what the players are worth, it's still not an awful idea to get a clearer outlook.

His first big test will be on Thursday Night. I really hope the Titans pick up some sort of player on offense. I think overall the offense needs the most help. But either way I'll be excited and supportive.

I haven't been this nervous for a Titans draft in awhile. New GM and the team coming off of it's worst season in about eight years.

I might do a deeper dive last minute before the draft, and get to know some more of the players. Last year I knew WAY more about the prospects. We shall see.
