Surprising nobody, the 76ers lose again to the Raptors Sunday | Sixers in NY to face Knicks tonight

My goodness, this has been a seriously rough year to write about the Sixers. 52 losses and counting is just brutal. I feel as though I'm getting far too used to writing about these defeats. I guess I'm chalking it up to experience at least. My loyalty cannot be questioned that's for sure. I'm also getting a taste of what it's like to write about some winners finally in the Phillies and so returning to writing about the Sixers just feels like I'm returning to some dingy basement or something. But with only a handful of games left, may as well finish strong! Perhaps it will be fun to glance at these depressing posts when the Sixers are NBA Champs in 2026! I can only hope anyway.

PA legend Lonnie Walker IV led the Sixers in scoring with 23 points on Sunday at least and that was pretty great! Watching him play is one thing worth appreciating in this mess of a season.

The Sixers are up in the iconic Madison Square Garden tonight to face 47-27 Knicks. The Knicks are having another strong season and are currently third in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks have already clinched a playoff spot but, they could possibly lose their position in theory although odds are in their favor since the Pacers are three and a half games behind the Knicks. Considering that and the Knicks always wanting to beat the Sixers in general, it's probably safe to say that this game is mostly a formality. The Sixers are about to get cooked like a brisket.

The Sixers are truly quite close to reaching the fourth worst record in basketball and further increasing their odds at a great draft pick. The Pelicans are two games worse than the Sixers and the Nets are a game and a half better than the Sixers. These last seven games are going to be quite interesting to see how it wraps up.

Whatever the case....
