Not much to report on except that it's fully clear that the Titans are at complete rock bottom. The Will Levis experiment was fun(ish) while it lasted but, I have a strong feeling that December 15th, 2024 was Will Levis's final opportunity to be the Titans' franchise quarterback. To be fair, odds were already very thin going into Sunday that Levis was going to be the guy, but fate seems sealed now.

Levis's three interceptions Sunday came in a span of four pass attempts. In total Levis had four incompletions, three picks. He also lost a fumble. Four turnovers total. Dude didn't even crack 90 yards passing. He's now appeared in well over a season's worth of starts. I'm not even mad at the guy, he seems to have tried his best, starting in the NFL at a high level is not an easy thing to do. He beat the Texans, had a fun comeback against the Dolphins, torched the Falcons in his debut, so ya know, there was a fun memory created here and there with Levis at the helm.

Of course there's always exceptions, maybe if he hangs around as a backup, and gets an opportunity down the line, I guess who knows but that's a whole different scenario and a highly unlikely one. It would be wildly unwise for the Titans to even entertain that whatsoever. I guess I'm just being nice to the dude. He is a decent athlete but things are not clicking and the Titans SHOULD be looking elsewhere.

Sunday's game was not all his fault, the Titans have several holes in the roster all over the place. This re-build will take more than just an improved QB. Rock bottom.

I have no idea who is going to start, Mason Rudolph or Levis, in these last three games but it does not matter. I'd like to see the team try and win but wouldn't be mad at a better draft spot. I just think, in general, franchises underestimate how much not trying can negatively impact a team culture. So total tanks scare me a bit. Meh.

The Titans are in a bad spot right now. It's pretty obvious 2025 is likely going to be similar to this season. Many say this QB draft class is pretty weak, but that 2026 looks a lot better. This is unfortunate to have to look at, not this draft class, but NEXT year's draft class. That's when you know you're team is in disaster territory.

I've accepted the team's fate, but I'm still digesting it at the same time. I keep saying I'll look at the draft class more in depth, but it's depressing in general to take QB lottery tickets, let alone hearing the poor QB class narrative. I'll give myself a break, the season is not over so I'll just honor these games as a fan, even though they are mostly meaningless.

As I said the Titans need more than a QB so may as well just draft the best player at any weak spot at this point. Take your pick. Receiver, inside linebacker, edge rushers, o-line has been better but could definitely use more talent in the mix.

All in all it is just sports, I should actually attempt to enjoy the journey to relevancy. Life's too short not to just be optimistic and to seriously worry about things that are out of my hands.

Still, I love the team, it will always be annoying to watch them lose. HA.
