It has been just an epic start to the season for the Phillies in 2025. Certainly a memorable March thus far! An average of nine runs scored in these first two games by the Phillies and Kyle Schwarber has hit two homers already. Schwarber is on pace for 162 homers and the Phillies are on pace for a 162-0 record, wouldn't that be something?? LOL!!

Bryson Stott and Brandon Marsh also hit their first dingers of 2025 yesterday, which was great! New pitcher Jesus Luzardo acquainted himself nicely with Phillies fans by striking out 11 Nationals and getting his first win as a Phillie. He was painting the corners of the strikezone in a very lovely way, I was impressed!

Yes after yesterday's win has simply left me excited for more baseball!! I almost want to watch the A's in full as well but sometimes time doesn't really allow that. We shall see, they've been playing pretty well I've noticed casually.

But yes for the Phillies Aaron Nola gets his first start of the season and so my confidence is fairly high that the Phillies can get this sweep.

I suppose winning is always nice but this season has just felt nice. It's so great the Phillies franchise has kept these core guys together as long as they have.

Lets see the Phils head to Philly tomorrow 3-0!!!
