Phillies win another thriller last night! | Luzardo on the hill for series deciding game in ATL tonight + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 40
It has been just an absolute breath of joyful air talking about the Phillies after months of pain watching the Titans and Sixers. The Phillies are must see baseball I'm telling ya!
Last night was another suspenseful back and forth affair. Bryce Harper continues to warm up a bit, but as the game progressed it was a 3-3 game going into the ninth until Trea Turner got a hold of one and sent it into the seats to take the lead late.
Jose Alvarado did his thing and got the save to knot the series at one a piece. It was just a great performance and man, just thinking about watching the Phillies gets me pumped!
Taijuan Walker was strong once again and hopefully he can be a more reliable option going forward especially since the Phils are paying him all that money.
It's Jesus Luzardo on the mound tonight and this guy has looked like a Cy Young candidate as far as I'm concerned through two starts as a Phillie. Hopefully he can continue to pitch well and lead the Phils to a third straight series victory to start 2025.
