Phillies need to WAKE UP, as they get ERADICATED once again in Arizona + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 17
After a brief bit of hope a few days ago, it feels like the Phillies are back in their slump once again. The losses themselves have been pretty bad, but the past two games have been a bit more than your average losses. They have been destruction.
The Phillies have been outscored 23-6 the past two games. They've been out hit 33-13. These numbers are just bad. Very not good. Awful.
The Phils had a slim chance at a comeback yesterday, they managed to cut the Diamondbacks lead down from seven to four, only for the D-Backs to score three the very next inning. Not great.

Pitchers can't pitch, hitters can't hit. This team doesn't look like a championship contender at the moment. The Phils lead over the Braves and Mets of 7.5 and 8 feels dangerously close the way the Phillies are playing.
The Phillies have not had a home game since July 31st, their next six games will be in Philadelphia which is good. They have an off day today before seeing divisional opponents the next nine games. The Marlins, Nationals, and Braves in that order. Perhaps these circumstances can generate some positive momentum.
The Marlins series will be only two games. The games will be Harry Potter and then Italian Heritage nights! Sounds fun wish my son and I could be there.
