Phillies lose second straight to the Pirates, third straight loss overall + A.D. Hammer's journey continues
Sooooo yeah. Phils lose 4-1 in Pittsburgh.

The Phillies aren't looking too hot as of late. They dropped this series against the Pirates, hopefully they can avoid getting swept tomorrow.
For the second straight game a Phillies starter could not reach the sixth inning. Yikes.
The Phillies only managed four hits, and their lone run was a solo shot by Bryce Harper in the ninth inning. While it did not mathematically matter in the end, it was still tough to see Strahm follow in Alvarado's footsteps from yesterday and give up late runs. The Pirates scored two additional insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth to really keep this one out of reach.
In the virtual world of my videogames, A.D. Hammer's journey continues. Nothing too special happens here in this part. But things will be getting sort of spicy soon...
