Phillies lose an ugly one yesterday, begin a MASSIVE four game series vs Braves today + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 29

The Phillies got absolutely manhandled 10-0 yesterday. Taijuan Walker does not look like he's a pro caliber pitcher at this point. The guy is an automatic L when he steps on the mound these days. Not good.

The bats were actually nearly as bad. The Phils were dangerously close to getting no-hit yesterday. Nuts. Not exactly great timing with the Braves coming to town. The Phils have been looking better and maybe they are, but after getting blown out AND nearly were victims to a no-hitter, it's a bit difficult to get a read on this team.

The Braves indeed visit Philadelphia and I really want the Phillies to assert some dominance and beat these guys down. The NL East is now down to just five and this series is four games. Does not take a math wiz to calculate why this series is crucial. The Braves are definitely going to bring it. Many eyes will be on this series actually. The Mets and several other teams are lingering around for a Wild Card spot as well. No doubt, this is a big last stretch of the season.

Cristopher Sanchez is set to pitch today and he's solid enough, no complaints here. The Phillies will be facing veteran Charlie Morton.

The stakes are pretty high today, feels kind like playoffs-lite. I hope the Phillies fans are their loud, toxic selves tonight!

GO PHILS
