Well for a low scoring game, yesterday was fairly eventful. The Phils suffered their second loss of the year. While Aaron Nola wasn't awful he's been consistently sub-par in comparison to what we are used to seeing from him. He seems to give up at least a homer a game these days if not multiple. I really hope he figures it out soon.

It wasn't all Nola's fault of course, the Phils offense only managed to score one run but they could have scored more had Bryson Stott actually ran on the base paths correctly. He got doubled up as the Phils were attempting to tie the game up. Really unfortunate and frustrating for sure.

All in all the Phillies are playing against the defending champs and world series favorites so, I am not too upset and they can still win the series today!

Sanchez is on the hill today and he's already struggling a bit. These past two days I've written these posts a bit hastily I will admit but hopefully soon I will give a bit more in depth posts and also post them in a timely manner. Ugh, it's my fault at the end of the day, I need to get these posts out a lot quicker but I suppose it is what it is.

Phils are down 2-0 already but let's see how the boys respond.
