Phillies lose 6-3 to the Mets, look to clinch NL East tonight!! Wheeler on the mound!
Even though my Titans are absolute dog crap, at least my baseball team is killing it. After the Titans loss, maybe the Phillies can ease my pain by CLINCHING THE DIVISION BABY.
The Phils played meh baseball yesterday and lost 6-3. There was some errors in the field and they just came out flat.
Ranger was his normal average self on the mound. Lasted five giving up two runs. I suppose if the bullpen pitched excellent, maybe the Phillies could have won. Would be nice to see Ranger pitch excellent one night soon. But he is good for his role.
Schwarber hit ANOTHER lead off homer which was nice while it lasted. Casty also homered. Those two homers counted for half the hits on the team though as the Phils only managed four hits.
I'm confident in the Phillies chances tonight though as ZACK WHEELER pitches tonight. Let's go he's been amazing! He can help the Phillies clinch the division against his former team in the Mets!!!
So I was apparently wrong, if the Phillies tie the Dodgers for best record, the Phillies actually have the tiebreaker!!! Right now they are both at 92-63 and so a win would also be massive to keep pace or better if the Dodgers lose.
Game starts soon, after the Titans I'm pumped to watch some success, hopefully.
