Phillies are in Seattle for their series finale. For the Phillies, Zack Wheeler takes the mound and hopefully he can help resurrect the team a little bit. Wheeler seeks his eleventh win of the season.

They face Seattle's Logan Gilbert on the mound. Gilbert is having a bit of a down year in terms of his win-loss record, but he is boasting a career high ERA of 3.11 so far in 2024.

Seems like a perfect day for baseball in the Pacific Northwest. Currently it is partly cloudy in the high seventies and will reach the mid eighties by the game's end.

Getting this post out late but, it is still the first inning. Kyle Schwarber has helped the team start out strong as he hit a lead off homerun. Only 1-0 though so plenty of time for the Phillies to choke this one away. Hopefully they don't though!
