Not to say my posts are normally brimming with high quality stuff but today I am really pushing it. Definitely in a rush. Started the day late, ultimately I am just kinda lazy I guess ugh. Better late than never, here we go.

The Phils looked really fantastic yesterday as they achieved their thirteenth shutout of the 2024 season. Aaron Nola pitched an absolute gem of a game of seven scoreless innings. The bats were not absolutely killing it like they were in Kansas City but they were certainly efficient and good. The main man with the bat had to be Nick Castellanos as he crushed a three run homer last night.

The Phillies have won the series and are officially a game away from SWEEPING the pesky Astros which would be awesome. If the Phillies can make it harder for the Astros to make the playoffs or even help them miss the playoffs altogether, that would be awesome. Although considering the Mariners keep losing, I don't expect that to happen.

There's a chance that there will be a lot of runs scored today since the Phillies are sending Taijuan Walker to the mound and he has been STRUGGLING big time. Luckily for the Phils, they will be facing a pitcher that's not exactly killing it in Spencer Arrighetti. Cool last lame I will give him that. Still, Arighetti is 6-11 on the year with a nearly 5 ERA.

Would be nice for momentum to see Walker have a nice outing. It's gonna be a hot one today, in the nineties. Hope the boys stay hydrated.
