My sports suffering did not end as the Titans get smoked AND the Phillies also lose. Titans post coming later....

For now since I'm going to be busy today, might as well get this blog in. No fun writing about losing LOL. But that's sports. Not always sunshine and chamiponships.

The Phillies are still very much championship contenders of course. Arguably favorites. But yesterday was not their night as they lose to the Mets AGAIN. They lose the series and fail to clinch. Zack Wheeler definitely did his best. He went seven innings and allowed just two.

But two seemed to be too much for the Phillies offense to handle and they could only muster up five hits and score just a single run.

The Mets look dangerous for sure but they were desperate I suppose. Oh well, they have their own business to attend to against the Braves.

The Phillies will be in Philadelphia to take on the Cubbies who have no playoff chances but will definitely want to play spoiler in any way they can.

Nola will be on the mound tonight and hopefully the Phillie legend can embrace the energy from the crowd and GET THE DIVISION FINALLY. Phillies take their cuts against former Blue Jay Nate Pearson.

Big night for the Phillies. It's officially fall now, seasons changing means PLAYOFF BALL. Fun times no doubt about it. The Philly area feels like fall a lot today. Chilly and overcast.
