I've been out of it recently when it comes to writing and it SUCKS. Feels like I'm missing a part of me lately and I'm glad I'm pushing through and writing this one out!

A lot has happened in the world of the Tennessee Titans, like DT Jeffery Simmons and OG Roger Saffold becoming late additions to the NFL Pro Bowl!! Those guys totally deserve it and I'm glad to see that the Titans had FOUR NFL Pro Bowlers in a year that ended a bit anticlimactically.

Head Coach Mike Vrabel and GM Jon Robinson THANKFULLY are BOTH extended!

I am SOOOO happy about this!

Since Jon Robinson arrived in Tennessee in 2016 as the General Manager he immediately changed the trajectory of the Titans franchise from nearing totally sad to pretty much a consistent contender. He's drafted countless contributors and is notably pretty aggressive when it comes to making some nice trades, including draft night. Love J-Rob man, he's helped the last few years of my football watching life bearable and then some.

The man PRODUCES RESULTS! A blunt taste of J-Rob's success so far through six seasons. Pretty good!! I'm so glad he's been re-signed.

Mike Vrabel being resigned is HUGE too. Since he became the head coach in Tennessee in 2018, it was pretty clear that he was the perfect fit for Nashville. A confident, pure football vibe. Seems laid back and intense at times. Just a solid coach that expects the best from his players. He seems basic to some but it's simply because he's not like one of those young, small, unimposing coaches like LaFleur, McVay, or Shanahan. Some people consider him to be like a dumb jock or something, but he knows the game better than most thanks to a life of high level football and being coached by the greatest coach ever, in Bill Belichick. He actually seems like a pretty deep and analytical person, in my opinion.

I have no idea how long the contracts are. It's so annoying when NFL reports NEVER explain how long contracts are.

I get the impression that Vrabes and J-Rob are here to stay for awhile though. J-Rob is a Tennessee native (I'm 99 percent sure) and overall seems to really like his position.

Vrabes straight up said he plans on being the coach in Tennessee for a long time, and after that tough loss to Cincy that felt good to hear.

In general this is really great news that the two most important non playing positions are solidified and have clear evidence of being successful. After Jeff Fisher, who really wasn't ALL that, the Titans were really not stable. Since 2016 it's been a breath of fresh air.

Vrabes officially Coach of the Year!!

I've said it a million times but man, Mike Vrabel really showed how great of a coach he is this year. Insane amount of injuries just all over the place. He helped this team stay together and have a fun season. 12 wins, Division Title, AFC Top Seed. The dude is a stud.

It's great to see a guy like Vrabel win this award. He's well liked and will be here in Nashville for the foreseeable future. Some years some one hit wonder coaches win this award, not this year.

This is pretty much the MVP of Coaching. What a cool thing to see a Titan win it!

This Super Bowl will be painful to watch but it's still the SUPER BOWL.
