Been down in the dumps personally so it's nice to get back to some Sixers action tonight. Writing and watching about them is always a pretty pleasant distraction. Win or lose.

The Sixers handled business in a big way on Wednesday and man I am loving what I am seeing. It seems like the Sixers know what they are doing nowadays, it's like they've just flipped a switch. I'm almost wondering if Paul George and Joel Embiid could disrupt this rhythm whenever they return. Tyrese Maxey has been playing stellar basketball, showing some really awesome consistency and he dropped another 30 points Wednesday. Eight Sixers scored at LEAST 9 points against the Kings. That's a well balanced attack if I do say so myself.

Tonight, the Sixers face the team that essentially made the Sixers realize they were at rock bottom ten days ago in the Denver Nuggets. This is a big game for a lot of reasons, winning this game would have to be the biggest win of the season in my opinion. The Nuggets are an excellent team and to come full circle and beat the team that essentially inspired the Sixers to get better would be deeply satisfying. It would also extend the win streak to five.

It will be difficult but they Sixers have surprised me pretty much every single game during this win streak. I imagine their effort tonight will be as high level as ever since they are playing the Nuggets. The Sixers are also EXTREMELY close to being in a play-in spot too! A lot on the line as we finish up January.

I'm pretty excited!
