Welp, the Sixers entire main roster has been out and will of course remain out. The Thunder did not need many of their own main guys Wednesday to defeat the struggling Philadelphia 76ers. MVP contender Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Isaiah Hartenstein who is averaging a double-double were two noticeable names that did not play for OKC. Despite this, the Thunder still pretty much destroyed the Sixers and ended up winning by over thirty points. Seven different Thunder players scored in double digits and as a team they drained 24 three pointers. The Sixers really never stood much of a chance unfortunately.

Quentin Grimes still only improves his value as he scored 28 more points against the Thunder at least. It didn't ease the pain of watching the Sixers get run over but it's still nice someone is having fun LOL. As Sixers fans, February and March have not been fun, but for Grimes these two months may very well be the greatest, most life changing times of his life. I respect it and am happy for the guy.

It's rather fun writing about the Sixers despite the losing, and I can see how fun it can be to write about a team like this over a length time. Hopefully soon these Sixers posts transform into having a celebratory and excited energy in the next few years. No matter what happens, I'm sure it will be interesting to witness. Hopefully the Sixers organization can navigate through this turmoil with grace, intelligence, and speed!

Tonight the Sixers face the Spurs who are in a fairly similar boat. Both teams' star big men are out and both are basically looking toward 2025/26. It will be nice to watch Chris Paul play. It blows my mind he's still playing in the league and is a productive, useful player. I grew up watching him and it's anyone's guess when his last season will be so, I'm going to really try and appreciate watching the future Hall of Famer compete in 2025!

Should be a fun night. Can't believe the season is almost over!!
