Two wins in a row, I must be dreaming. I almost forgot what it felt like to watch a successful basketball team! Between my Titans and Sixers I've seen a whopping 20 victories since September! The Phillies were successful a bit but their season was practically over at that point.

Of course once the Sixers catch a glimmer of success, it almost always seems to come with a catch. Paul George went out with finger injury in Saturday's win, but the Sixers stayed focused and got the job done. It feels like the roster is just used to being without Embiid and George at this point. Those two players feel pretty unimportant these days. So weird.

I'm becoming more and more of a Kelly Oubre Jr. fan with each passing game. The man is the glue of this team and is a very well balanced player with a really strong knack for getting rebounds. Just a wiry, deceptively strong player. He recorded another double double on Friday!

Maxey almost had a double double himself scoring 31 points and dishing out 9 assists.

This is such a weird season but I feel like the younger players and the whole roster are just playing hard and just going for it lately. They don't seem to try and be perfect anymore. They're just balling.

LeBron and the Lakers are in town and that's always going to be a challenge. The Lakers are quietly putting together a nice season. They sit comfortably above .500 and are actually fifth in the Western Conference. This surprises me a bit. LeBron nears retirement soon, this year possibly so it is pretty cool to see him play in Philly for what could possibly be his last season. I don't imagine he plays more than three more years max at this point but who knows.

My confidence about this Sixers team is still pretty low but they have been getting it done. Could they get this done tonight? I hope so!
