Hello all. I walked down by the river today. It looks like it is ready to overflow. Flooding happens In this area a lot. The river is very beautiful. I’m lucky I do not live so close to a river. Enjoy my pictures.
The picture below is the road down to the river. I can’t think of the name of the river right now.
This trail goes in to Elton Bennet Park.
The deer today are the most beautiful creatures I ever seen.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the deer. I don't see them that often. These deer had white on their faces which seemed unusual. They were quite beautiful.

I actually did, your Deer photos came out much better than mine! Of course you have normal size Deer, here they are pretty small, though in Germany they are even smaller! 😲 Like big dogs!

This is how far behind I am.. Oh well, catching up!
Yes in Germany, basically Central Europe, everywhere the Deer are small... Very in comparison to Deer probably anywhere in the U.S. But... Here's a shocker! 😲
The Rabbits (and there are "many") are "Huge"! And Very, Very fast!
There are some with ears that I am sure come up to your knees, I think they call them "Hares" instead of Rabbits. When I first got to Europe I was driving a truck in the back lot and one shoots out gallops along at about 15mph and then shoots off!🐇
And so my friend Barb, I hope the new Year is treating you "Great"!

Sorry for being extremely late 😂
Don't worry about getting behind.
I had to take some time off because I was sick and too stressed out.
So I gave myself a rest.
I'm feeling a lot better now from resting and because I was sick.
Oh, OK, smaller deer in Europe and that is interesting.
Large rabbits LOL 😅 Yes I have seen them online. I saw a huge rabbit someone was holding. It was like a dog size! Wow the hares sound fast in Europe!
They need to outrun predators from above!
Thank you for the prayers and I am finally feeling somewhat better. I was just exhausted and decided to rest and I got an ear infection and before that I have had terrible skin rashes with eczema for over a month now. It's finally healing now.
I hope the New Year is treating you well, too.

Yes it is funny, even "Island Deer" are larger than the European ones!
Yeah, funny story... When I first got to Germany ('76) I was driving a truck in the back lot of the Motor Pool, and a Hare jumps out from in between the trucks and is galloping alongside me at about 20 mph, I asked the guy next to me "what is that"?
He started laughing and said a Rabbit/Hare!
In later years when I moved from Baden Wurttemburg to Hessen I worked at the Stars and Stripes. In the fields around there, there hundreds of not thousands of Rabbits..So many you could hear them "thump the ground" to signal danger to each other when you approached!
Sorry to hear about the ear infection and the rashes! I am hoping that it is getting better or, all better now!

Thank you for the prayers again, Les and get well message. I am feeling a lot better today - my ear is better and my skin is better than it was but not completely. The rash is almost gone, but now I have acne all over my chin which is strange. I hardly have ever had acne. I have been eating a lot of junk food. LOL! 😂
