Late Blossom: Thursday September 5 2024

Summer is taking a last stand. Almost 30 degrees and steady sunshine. Of course I went to the lake again. Won't get a chance to take a swim there too often before the year ends.

Not to mention other confusing magical attractions that draw me out there. It's astonishing what a few heartfelt words of affection can do to our minds.

This last flower in the field by the train tracks can't get enough of summer either and keeps opening new blossoms. Life wants to be lived.

What an absolutely beautiful sunset. (Or sunrise.)

Let's see if this year the October-November weather lasts only like a week or something and we'll go almost instantly from summer to winter temperatures. I'd like that because I hate the cold and wet time of the year. But I guess the nature needs it. So I'm willing to give te nature two weeks of the wet and cold. :D
