Emotions: Friday August 30 2024

The late summer is showing its finest. High temperatures with a pleasant breeze and softly strong sunshine.

I did what had to be done and cycled out to the lake for a swim... twice. Before and after lunch.

In the morning I met an old friend by the lake whom I hadn't spoken to in quite a while. It was really good to do some catching up and learn how he's been doing lately.

Then in the afternoon a beautiful woman gave me a wonderful compliment. A meaningful compliment, too. I would have liked to return it but I think I had to leave her feeling a bit awkward?!?

Quite an emotional day today.
