Same and Different: Tuesday August 27 2024

Summer continues. More blue skies and strong sunshine. The air temperatures are climbing again.

As I am worried about the health of my featherd friend Ronald a.k.a. Gandalf and his bleaching feathers, I decided to switch up his diet. No more peanuts, how about a hard boiled egg?!

At first he was quite sceptical about that weird looking peanut I brought for him this morning, but eventually he accepted my offering. Feels a bit weird to feed an egg to a bird, but the internet said it would be good nutrition for him.

In the afternoon I cycled out to the lake to take a quick swim.
