Legged Lizard: Friday August 23 2024

The temperatures climed back up to wearing shorts. Maybe my summer-is-ending-panic that crept up yesterday was a bit preemptive. Tomorrow is actually forecast to get uncomfortably hot again.

In the afternoon I met a little lizard. This time with legs. So just a common legged lizard. This is the closest it would let me get, as I moved an inch closer it immediately scurried away. Unsurprisingly, these guys are much faster than their legless cousins.
