Actifit App UI/UX Redesign - Give Us Your Thoughts!

hey hey actifitters,

We are working with graphics team to bring you a new and enhanced Actifit UX/UI experience. We know it's long overdue, and we want to make it happen!

This includes a complete facelift of the existing mobile app for both android and ios.

We want to involve our community in this change and would like your perspective and thoughts on the suggested layout. And hey, if you think you can design an even cooler interface for Actifit, let us know! We are keen on moving forward with the coolest design.

So, without much further ado, below you will find what our designers have suggested as a theme for the new app. Mind you, the content of the screens is just a sample of the theme/layout, and will not necessarily reflect how the app will function

Let us know what you think is good, bad, needs to be adjusted, kept, or thrown away!

Hey, I'm glad to hear you're updating the app. I don't care about the looks, I just want to be sure my data is saved while I'm writing a post, even when I accidentally click the back button.

Also, the template needs to have a blank line added between the user input and the generated content.

I've kind of gotten used to the utilitarian design of the app and I am not so sure about how I feel about the bubbly new facelift.

In the end it comes down to the usability of the features. The screenshots above preview a lot of functionality that's not currently part of actifit. It looks kind of nice but it's probably misleading.

I wouldn't mind a new post editor and a sleeker interface, but most importantly I would like to see some bugs smoothed out with the app and a better browsing experience on the web.

Nice redesign, i like it @actifit
I think it will make using the app a bit more approachable for the general public who are perhaps more accustomed to the polished interfaces of the main social media sites. I feel this will make it a bit easier to get more people onboard & using the app regularly.

You mean Actifit Defi on BSC? defi.actifit.io is already up and running but farming will start soon. You can add liquidity for earning rewards in fees. But Defi on Hive Diesel pools is already live and you can farm AFITX by adding liquidity.

Yes on BSC. Farming have been in the "soon" area for a while and I am just curious.

One UX/UI thing that I would really like to see on both mobile and web interfaces is the option for a dark mode view. Not everyone has the opportunity to exercise outdoors in the sun. I get most of my exercise indoors, using the Cubii elliptical machine, and I tend to interact with the Actifit interface indoors as well, either via the mobile or web. This means that the current red on white design of the interface is very straining on my eyes.

Other than that, the proposed changes look very nice. I look forward to a time when there can be new features of the Actifit interface specifically for recording of data relevant to the monitoring of diabetes blood glucose levels (BGL) and other such data.

Great to hear it.
I would like to see a simple interface with clean options for posting and a better log in system.

Hopefully there is a complete overhaul for the main website as well that will only require one log in to operate.

Light accounts would be amazing for users to operate without needing a full hive account. Then if they wanted to claim rewards they could go a step deeper.

All I will say is that simplicity is everything to grow a project. Make it as easy as possible for users to join, post and earn.

Looks great, would like to see how the menus would look since the app would need to be able to allow users access to their wallets across chains and the posting and engaging function.

As well as the market place

I use actifit on my iPhone, so I will say that I like this new design much better than it is now. As for the features, I would also like to see them all, like in the presentation photos. That would be awesome!
