Palmeiras kills Santos in the Copa Libertadores final

Brazilian Palmeiras was crowned Copa Libertadores champion at the expense of his compatriot Santos, after beating him in a deadly time with no response, Saturday evening, in the final match hosted by the famous Maracana stadium.

The goal of the deadly victory came in the tenth minute of calculated time instead of lost by Breno Lopez, to crown Palmeiras with his second title in the history of the tournament.

Calm prevailed in the first 10 minutes of the match before Palmeiras reached the first opportunity with a shot through Rafael Vega from inside the penalty area, but it hit the body of one of the defenders and turned into a corner.

The two teams settled with circulating balls in the middle of the stadium, to miss the two goals in the first half hour, with the exception of Palmeiras' only attempt at the start of the match.

Moments before the end of the first half, Palmeiras arrived with a dangerous opportunity with a creeping ground shot fired by Menino, but it passed by the post, so the two teams went to rest with a 0-0 draw.

Verissimo missed the opportunity for an investigator after a cross reached him inside the penalty area of ​​Palmeiras, to meet her with a header from the position of a bird, but she missed the net.

After a save by goalkeeper Weverton, she bounced off a ball to prepare for Felipe Jonathan, Santos' left back, who met her with a long-range shot of a rocket, but it passed by the left post.

In the final minutes of normal time, Caio Jorge attempted to catch a Palmeiras goalkeeper with a double backhand, but it went into Waverton's hands.
