Akwa United will host 15th placed Kwara United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in matchday fifteen of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Kwara United will be hoping to tighten things up especially in the defense as the parade the most porous defense in league after Adamawa United.

The Promise Keeper's parted ways with the record goalscorer Mfon Udoh who joined the USA outfit, Tusal FC over the weekend. Apparently, the club's attacking responsibilities will be resting on the in form striker, Akarandot Orok and supported by Ndifreke Effiong who has been drafted to play closely behind the striker.

Kennedy Boboye will be looking to extend the club's unbeaten run to seven matches and the clean sheets to six since taking over from John Obuh as the gaffer of the side.

Noticeably, Akwa United have netted 13 times this season, no thanks to their staggering start under the former manager but their opponent have conceded 22 times so far, the second worst in the division.
