REASON WHY MANCHESTER CITY MIGHT END UP TAKING TOP POSITION

No doubt about the fact that Chelsea Football Club is a team that some many club do not really want to play against because of their form and their pattern of play. Chelsea football team is hard to predict their outcome of match or who to score because any of their player can score.

Chelsea is currently sitting in first position with twenty-six point from eleven match played. the team has successfully scored twenty-seven goals from fifteen different players and has just conceded just four goals for far in the English premier league. of which the highest goal that any time has score against them is one goal per match. this record however make the team the most defensive team in English premier league.

Despite this beautiful performance from Chelsea there is high tendency that the club might drop some points in this month after the international break. Some of the reason why the club might drop point in the up coming matches include

1. CHELSEA HAVE TOUGH TEAMS TO PLAY AFTER INTERNATIONAL BREAK

After the international break Chelsea will be playing Leicester City who are currently in good form. Liecester City were able to defeat Chelsea in FA cup final last season. The team is not really an easy team to defeat by Chelsea. The last five H2H between Chelsea and the team shows that Chelsea had two winning and a draw while Leicester too also had two winning. Apart from the fine form and difficulty of Chelsea getting a winning, it should be recalled that Leicester City were able to defeat United by four goals to two.

Chelsea will also be playing the Italian giant who defeated Chelsea in Italy to top the Champions league group table. Chelsea will not settle for nothing than a winning in other to finish first so as to avoid playing difficult team such as Bayern.

After playing the Italian giant, Chelsea will in turn play the wounded Manchester United who have lost point to City and will not like to repeat such a mistake again especially to their arch rival Chelsea.

2. INJURIES

Chelsea have been playing their matches with false number nine striker ever since their two strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Wener had issue in the same match against Malmo of Sweden. Apart from these players Kovacic and Alonso also join the sick bed last week. The presence of these players means a lot to the team and their performance.

City on the other hand are just three point behind Chelsea. Manchester City are well known for their consistent winning rate. Apart from being consistent City does not really have tough teams to face like Chelsea. City will be facing Everton and West Ham in the English Premier league. Manchester City won their last five match against Everton and Play three winning against the Hammers and draw two which shows that there is high tendency of getting winning in both matches of which Chelsea cannot get easily.
