AFCON SEMI FINAL BATTLE
Good day hivers been a while have not been active in hive based on personal issues, but am back fully to this lovely platform where you can express yourself and talk about alot of things.
Today am talking about the Afcon Semi final battle to take place today and tomorrow, we are getting closer to who is going to win the Afcon 2021 with all the 4 teams that went through to the semi finals have perform really well to get to this stage but as we all know only one team is allowed to become the champion, so who is it gonna be between the host Cameroon, Senegal, Egypt, Burkina Faso.
The 2021 semi final have been announced and confirmed, following the Sunday’s AFCON quarter-final fixtures.
Egypt won Morroco 2-1 after 120 minutes. The match ended in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes of intense match and Egypt came out victorious in the extra time with Mohamed Salah and Trezeguet scoring the two goals for Egypt, while Sofiane Boufal scored Morocco’s only goal of the encounter through a penalty in the first half.
Also, Senegal was victorious over Equatorial Guinea with a good performance, Senegal winning Equatorial Guinea in the quarter final with 3 goals to 1, Sengal won the game 3-1. Senegal have been struggling in the tournament from the group stage winning just 1 match with a penalty i believe they will carry this momentum into the semi final.
Cameroon the host of the Afcon this team have been impressive through out the tournament they want to host and win their tournament and they show their determination once more when they eliminated Gambia in the quarter final and they also have the highest goal scorer in there team whi have set is own record in Afcon.
Burkina Faso was victorious against Tunisia who gave a surprising victory to one of the impressive team in the tournament the Super Eagles but fail to take the advantage against a well composed team Burkina Faso
Burkina Faso will face Senegal on Wednesday night in the semi final and Egypt will take on the host Cameroon on Thursday in the second semi final match.
